when the last round is fired should the bolt stay open?

Yes it should. Provided:
1. That the hold open device is installed, and has a good spring 2. The mag button is pushing up on it enough. Some mags are so worn they don't do this See/search this topic. We had a recent discussion with pictures on all of this. FN |
