Default Latest MEC-GAR Upgrade, Shooter version!

Hello to all! This should be the best shooters mag available!! Because of a recent source of aluminum cast bottoms, I can now offer an aluminum bottom MEC-GAR upgrade, utilizing the GTHQ mag spring, and follower cap at the same price as my wood bottom units. There is still quite a bit of hand work to make the mag bottom fit and look nice, but when complete, they (alum. mag bottom) look almost identical to WW2 Mauser examples, in fact, they are nearly identical in every respect…. The cost of one of my complete upgraded mags with this bottom is $85.00 shipped, $50.00 as a kit… This will be pretty much what I’m gearing up to make for the Mauser Parabellums, only with a stronger spring… It will be available as long as the current supplier of bottoms has some for sale… I will still offer my custom aluminum bottoms for sale, but they are considerably more labor intensive, (all hand made, machined) hence a bit more expensive… pictures below..Best to all, til…lat’r….GT

GT, I guess that I should stock some of these alum bottoms for sale when your inventory permits, as I do with your wood bottoms. Tom

Pretty close, maybe a couple of bucks (2 or 3) more, but not much.. I'd make it so, as long as I'm not totally off on the postage! ... Thanks and best to you, til....lat'r...GT

Hi G.T. To day I received the ordered aluminum bottom MEC-GAR upgrade, plus the
the magazine. I can’t say how pleased I am with the kit, well packed and lots of spares.
We are very lucky to have you on this forum. Thank you.
Alf.
