Default Need info on a deal I am working on!

What can you guys tell me about this one. I am afraid it is reblued but I might get it for a better deal than listed.

Hi Dave, I would think of this Luger as a high end shooter (assuming the bore is decent), worth between $700.00 and $900.00. Bear in mind, though, that this gun will always be a shooter, and never a collectible. Regards, Norm

I agree with Norm 100%. If you can get it within the price range he quoted, preferably the toward lower end, it wouldn't be a bad deal. However, still a shooter.

Thanks guys. He is pretty well stuck on the price so I am going to pass on it. The finish on it looks too bright compared to others I have seen pics of on this site so I was concerned about it being reblued.

Sure it is reblued but looks pretty good for shooting!! Not sure on matching magazine and other parts as upper and bolt. Fonts seem to be different, maybe some experts (I am not) could take a closer loook and say if they match or not.

Wellcome to this great forum.

I would not hesitate to pay up to $850.00 for a nice all# matching 1937 S/42-shooter with a #-matching mag (!)
