Imperial and Third Reich holsters
It's pretty humid here in SC...so was doing my monthly storage check on holsters today.....here's a couple in exceptional condition. The Germans were real good with leather.
Imperial Era: Front of holster body, bears the marking P/AWM/9/14 (Artillery Werkstatt (Work Shop) München) and on the inside of the holster flap above the tool pouch, 12 JR 1914 (12th Infantry Regt). The magazine did not come with it, just used to hold flap open while photographing the holster. Photos 1-5 Third Reich Era: DLU 1940, ES/WaA727 (Ewald Lünenschloss Militäreffekten-Fabrik Solingen). Photos 6-8

AAaarrrggh. Envy is a sin and I am going to have to say a bunch of Mea Culpas...and I'm not even Catholic.

Thank you Bill.....Ron, I'll have Kate light a candle for you.
Jason, I'm sure you would give it a good, loving home where it would be well taken care of.

Francis,
That is one gorgeous holster. Too bad it's not a 1912 marked to the 14th JR. Ron
