Dear Experts

What is the item attached to the end of the barrel of this Erfurt Luger?

Jeff,

I believe it's a cleaning rod guide / muzzle protector attachment. Originals are desireable to some collectors.

Since the thing is marked with Erma, it is much more likely to be a part of Erma's Model 20, 4mm M20 conversion kit.

Ron, I wouldn't be surprised if many of these conversion kits ended up as muzzle protectors for cleaning eventually.

Just wondering why hasn't it sold yet? If I was into Lugers it seems it has a rare piece on it and it is a good price, or am I missing something? Thanks..................

The ad mentions that it is part of an Erma conversion kit, the only part that goes with the gun. Sure had me going...
