I'd say that looks like the projector room scene from "Inglorious Basterds". Great flick, the casting was so spot on..

I have visited this castle twice. Werfen lies about 90km south of Saltzberg, Austria. The castle is now a tourists' attraction and the courtyard where the helicopter lands in the movie is now a beer garden. The "cablecar room" is actually a souvernir shop!
Interestingly, the castle's true history is one of raptor bird breeding and falconry, which is still practiced for tourists, so it is indeed a "Schloss Adler".

Contrary to what the movie depicts, the castle is accessible on foot via an inclined but manageable road. The only cablecar to the castle is a small cable lift, used to send beer kegs up the slope to the beer garden!!

There is a small bridge on a road not too far from the castle where Hitler's Commando, Otto Skorzeni, surrendered himself and his troops to the allies in 1945.

Not the one I'm thinking of. This movie is much more recent and the Artillery is used as a club. Norm

Heroes of the Telemark with Kirk Douglas, I think there is a scene where they are shooting at a floating mine from a boat with an Artillery Luger. There is a 4" Luger and P.38s in that one too!

Soviet movie "Come and See" (1985) depicts the experiences of a 15-year-old boy joining the resistance in Nazi-occupied Belarus in 1943.

The "Artillery Movie" is, of course, "The Guns of Navarone". The character played by Anthony Quayle has his wounded leg clubbed with an Artillery Luger by an SS officer, in an effort to extract vital information. Norm

P38 is super popular in Yugoslavian WWII movies. In fact, I have never seen Lugers in Yugo movies. Every role, Partisan, Gastapo, Crotian, etc, plays P38.

Why didn't Yugoslavian see Lugers.....

Hi Alvin, On page 80 of "Third Reich Lugers" there is a photo of Tito accompanied by a soldier carrying a Luger "likely captured from the Germans". Regards
