Default A BIG JUICY JELLY DOUGHNUT

I knew I'd get you guys(and gals) to respond! What I really need other than a million bucks, is some help with the identy of these regimental markings. When you need someone, go to the experts! It is a 1918 Dated Erfurt, with the following regimental markings:

J.J.R.82.11.K.29

Thanks in advance for your kind help!

Best Regards,

Tim Canney

Hi Tim,I was real hungry so i'll take a stab. These numbers were standardized and then ignored by armourers; who exercised their artistry.First are the letters clear? The first "J" puzzeled me.JR=jager battalion(infantry)82=inf.regiment 11=company k=staff 29=weapon number. This doesn't exactly trip off the tongue.11 companies ?I'm not sure may be someone has a better idea.Regards MC
