Could it be a triangle in a circle?

If so, and it is on your barrel, your gun would

have a Finnish made replacement barrel, usually 9mm

and 4 3/4" long.

Dear JR - if you have a Finnish pistol, I would be very keen to hear a bit more about it. Many of these weapons were re-barrelled in the '30's by Tikakoski Oy., now owned by Oy SAKO.
