I found this site a few days ago and wanted to introduce meself. My name is Steve. I've been reading some of the info here as well as Jan's site. It just shows how complicated Lugers are. When I was kid they were $200 off the table and it didn't matter what it was. I'll probably ask some questions that some may
think dumb to some of you I hope you will help with info. I have a few books that I bought in the past, but not new to collecting firearms. I just don't specialize. I bought my first Luger eight years ago. A 1938 S/42. And recently aquired A 1939 S/42 Police. Found locally from the vets son out of the wood work, the only way I can afford to buy these nowadays. You seem like a pretty good bunch guys or gals from what I've read. One of the avatars I recognize is Edward Tinker. I see him on other forums I go to. I mostly Hang out on the GD forum about daggers and such. Last question what's the KB size for pics here? Regards Steve. |

Steve, welcome to the forum. I think the kb size is 300 kilobytes, but you can also post in the "album" area and it resizes them for you.
A 1939 S/42 police is fairly uncommon, almost rare, well done in your find! Ed
