Default Luger Holster with Wood Stock

All,

The following item is up on E-Bay.

http://cgi.ebay.com:80/ws/eBayISAPI....:X:RTQ:US:1123

My first impression is that it is a reproduction.

Please tell me what you guys think?

(I was thinking of bidding)

Pakistani repro, note the vertical strap on the back. The holster has either been cut down to 4" or has been mated to the reproduction artillery stock and leather.

Plus remember that mating that stock to a 4" or even 6" Luger, as per holster size, might land you in a legal nightmare with the BATF. Seems to me that once you drop a 4" luger into that holster attached to a stock you have broken the law. Kind of like having some M16 parts and also owning an AR. They don't have to be installed. Better safe than deal with those yahoos.

All,

If you check the listing the price is up to $400.00.
Is this about right for a repro?

What a nasty pile of junk! The winning bidder was too stupid to buy any books. $417 after tax dollars...What a waste.
