Artillery trade for Swiss Bern

I have recently been offered a trade for a VG "1906" swiss Bern for a "Good"1917 Artillery that I own . I have looked up the values of both in a gun values book and it seems that the values are similar.[A little less for the Bern" I have two 1917 Artilleries and can trade but I don't know much about The swiss Bern collector value. If any one could help me with what experienced collector think about the relative collector values of both of these pistols and what might be a good course to take .
