Default Correct bluing for 1902 ae

I am doing some more research into having my AE fat barrel restored. I have found a gentleman who does nice work I havent committed to anything but What is the proper bluing method for this year pistol? Also have any of you had restorations done were you pleased with the results? I have seen this guys work and he does a great job I am just soooo nervous about giving this weapon to ANYBODY
