Default aftermarket magazines

i should be getting my first luger (a shooter)in about a week. i was wondering what your experiences with aftermarket magazines were. which ones to look for and which to avoid. any have problems with fit or feeding?

I have had very good luck with the Mec-Gar magazines. One of the forum members, Doug George, did have a supply; don't know if he has any left. In addition, if you want to really dress it up, G.T. on the Forum builds beautiful wood bottoms for the Mec-Gar.

That is the way to go I think! GT bottoms and new MEC-GAR Mags. The triple K mags get good press from people that have used them as far as functioning goes but they are mostly plastic and not as pleasant pleasing to the eye I am told, I have not bought any both brands work well, but the MCs are the tops IMO. Remember if a Luger mag DOESNT have a strong spring, it CAN or MAY cause you feeding problems. Most of these new ones do! ~Thor~
