Default Mauser Lugers

Dear Experts

Which Mauser Lugers from the 30's and 40's should have "P-08" on the left side of the frame?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hello Jeff,
I don't consider myself an expert but to my knowledge this should only be the P08s marked "byf 41 and byf 42" corresponding to the years of production 1941 and 1942.

Hope this helped,
Thomas

Hi Jeff,
in addition to my first answer, there is also the "41/42" with the "P.08" marking.

I concur with Thomas assessment. the 1941 and 1942 production by Mauser had the P.08 designation on the left side grip frame 'flat'...
