Hello. I'm new to collecting Lugers and would like the experts' opinion on this one that I might buy.
The guy is offering it to me for $1000. All numbers match. No import markings. He says the bore is nice, bright and shiny with no rust or pitting. He 'thinks' the grips are not marked. Maybe he didn't take them off to look. Thanks for looking. Here are the pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Kypt -
Well, I'll give you an opinion. I do not think $1,000 is too much for it; however, why don't you tell the seller you'd like to have one with a better finish, and offer him $750.00 for it? Mauser720 - Ron

Kypt, you posted the pictures on a webhosting site; so many members at work taking a break can't see them, they get blocked by our firewalls.
I drove right past your location the other day on my way to UPS ![]() Ed

I used to work in that UPS hub in West Chester. =) I've never heard of that show. Is it a good one? Perhaps there will be some better Luger opportunities there? |

There will be some more expensive WW1 lugers there (my table), otherwise, no WW2 stuff right now.
The price is not "bad", for its condition (retail), albeit a bit high, if I was buying I'd try to get it for $500 and sell for $650-$700.... Ed
