Hi
This is my Luger from WW 1. I have owned this pistol since the mid 60s. I would like to know more about the history of this piece as well as the value in the market today. When I first bought it I used it some, but have not fired it in the last 20 years except I took it to the range about a month ago and put a box of ammo through it. The pistol worked as it should. The blue is better than it appears in the pictures as I lightened them so the markings would be easier to make out. Thanks Of course now I need to learn how to post pictures.... |

David, welcome to the forum. There is a thread or two on how to post pictures; the easiest way is to use the New Topic (for this same thread use ADD REPLY) and then ATTACH file. The biggest trick is t ensure photos are within a certain size.
Questions that can be answered without pictures; Serial number and suffix? Does it have a stock lug? Does it have any stampings (unit marks) on the front of the frame (or anywhere else)? Ed

Hi,
Thank you for welcoming me to the forum. I forgot to mention that this is a complete matching number gun...even the grips. I had the original magazine, but it fell apart shortly after I bought the gun and the peices have been lost. Does anyone have any idea on the value of this pistol? Thanks again.. |
