Default DWM Luger question

Hi guys I am new to the forum. I have just aquired a DWM Luger 30 caliber
serial # 6693. Not date stamped with year. Many small rust pits on side plate, front sight and under grips. I have repaired and reblued the gun. I would like to get an idea of what you think the value might now be and the year of manufacter and where might be a good place to get parts. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Welcome Drewman,
Sounds like you have a commercial DWM produced Luger. (DWM is the manufacturer).
Value depends on where you are located. I'm guessing the US, so I will let it be up to somone else to answer that. But you probably lowered the value a bit the day you decided to reblue it.
Have you checked if it's matching in numbers on the numbered parts?

As to parts, you can ask Tom Heller aka Lugerdoc here in this forum. He is a dealer of such and has fair prices. Good luck with it!

$400-$600 because of caliber and rebluing it. Unreblued, you probably could only have added a hundered or so....

Dating it would require more info, proof markings, if there is a suffix, is it 'germany" stamped, etc. Pictures would tell us immediatly if it is a "1908" model or a "1900".
