Greetings, Ed Tinker,
I have two Simson Nagants in 44 caliber. I bought them quite a few years ago. At that time I did a little research on the company and the revolvers with the help of a very kind gentleman at Waffentechnik in Suhl, Germany. The information I have is a little sketchy and not documented as it was told to me via email, but if you feel it may be of use to you, I can try to dig it out of my great pile of paper files. It was of interest to me, but I was not writing a book, either. I can take photos of details if needed. Glad to be of any help. ![]() ![]()

Ralph, I saw one of these on gunbroker reecently, and although the Simson company said that they made nagants, the Nagant guys said they'd never seen one!
Anyway, yes, I would LOVE to see info on yours and any other pictures. Ed weimar_lugers@verizon.net
