I have been looking through all my references that list odd markings and I can't find this one. Sorry.

Hello Laoshi75,
No there is no maker markings beside this "Lk". The "Lk" seems to be too perfect (made by a tool) to be a soldier marking....But I have no doubt that this holster is original WWII era. |

Iweinlan,
I have no doubt your holster is original ! but like Ron, I have never seen this kind of marking. |

the lines appear better on this photo, and I think this marking might be the ordnance code of the holster manufacturer. But I cannot identify it in my archives, sorry.

...the "LK" might be a "LYO" (Kromolowski & Sohne") ?

could be ....but then it would probably be associated with a WaA 77 (the LYO code)? and did they already had the LYO abbreviation in 1937 ?
The info I have for WaA 145 is: -Karl Barth, Milit¤reffektenfabrik, Waldbr¶l, Nordrhein-Westfalen : (1939) -Deutsche Lederwerkst¤tten GmbH, Margarethenstr. 3, Pirmasens, Rheinland-Pfalz (jln) : (P 08 holster : 1942-43) -Lock und Hartenberger Metallwarenfabrik, Idar-Oberstein, Rheinland-Pfalz (gqm) : (MP 40 mag. : 1942) |

I agree that the "LK" is in the correct position to be a maker code. Anyone have any info on the logo of Ludwig Krumm of Offenbock? TH
