So, I still don't own a Luger, but am dying to acquire one. Most are severely overpriced that I have seen. This past weekend at the gunshow I saw three. Only one of the three seemed worthwhile. So, 1918/1920 stamped, Erfurt production, all matching. Probably 80% on bluing, average grips. Two matching mags with wood bases. And a Police Issued Holstered. I forget the markings because it's already been a week, but there was a DLU present if I remember correctly. Priced at 1500$, the holster was really nice. How do I determine what a fair price is on a "rig", especially with the matched mags. I can look up completed prices on the auctions, but I still find it hard to gauge. Any advice, and comments on teh price of what I saw? Chris....

With out pictures impossible to give an accurate apprisal, however a true and pure 80% police Erfurt with 2 correct matched mags, and I mean correct mags, is worth well over $1500. throw in a holster is sound like a great deal...try surfing a few of the dealers, found to the left of the screen under "links & resources" and see what their gun look like and what they are going for, hope this is of some help.....
