Default Union Swith & Signal 45

I know very little about 1911 45 Autos, but I do know that the Union Switch and Signal (US&S) version is one of the more uncommon ones. Today I attended a gun show and purchased a 45 from an individual. The pistol has a Ithaca slide, but when I returned home from the show and did a little research on the serial number, I realized the serial number put the frame in the range of the US&S 45's. That serial number is 1056221. I am posting this to aid any 45 enthusiast or 45 data seekers that I think I have one more serial number to add to their study if one exist, or possibly pass this information to a 45 forum if one exist.

Thanks,
Mike
