Reproduction/New grips
Where is the best place to get some nice reproduction/new grips. I've noticed that a lot of sites state that fitting may be required. I would like to replace my grips with some nice pretty new ones on one of my guns but I don't want to have to do a lot of "fitting"

Member Hugh Clark (screen name Hugh) can fix you up with some nice fitting grips... just search for the word0 "grips" with his member name and you will find his contact information. He can even recondition the ones you have so you know they will fit. His work is first class IMHO.

Jon,
I have a couple of pair of Nil Griff grips left. They are made in Germany of walnut and come closer to fitting like the originals of any of the new reproduction grips currently available. I get them smooth and handchecker them to original specs. The price is $110 pair. Unless your original grips are in really-really bad shape, I can rechecker and finish them for $65 including return P&I. Hugh hhclark@wildblue.net
