Default interesting "reworks"

http://www.visier.de/artikelbeitrag/artikelbeitrag_11348.html

Just read an article in one of the German gun magazines (Visier)...looks like some companies take 4th career Lugers (like East German VoPo's and such) and 'rebuild' them, with some interesting results.

I like the M-16 Luger

See Waffem Werle in ourlinks and Resources section. Herr Werle has a site there and it shows the M16 Luger and others! ~Thor~

Ted & Rene, I agree the Hr. Werle has come up with some interesting ideas. Next we'll see Ted building some clones. If you find a source of these long carbine barrels, I'd like to know.

Tom H,

Your request for a source brings to mind the 30 M-1 Carbine.

Is the barrels external contour have sufficient material ?

The proper twist, Bore, and rifling dimensions?

Or possibly some other 30 cal. rifles?

Are, any available in sufficient quanity?

Or as last resort, How about mild steel barrel with a 30 cal rifled liner ?

Could any of these be resorted to ?

Just me "thinking again" .
