...sorry...not Lugers...

Things seemed slow on the Luger boards...so I figured I would trick you into thinking I added some Swiss Lugers...

Abyssinian additions to our clan.

Older red boy is Leopold, a sorel (or red) variety...now 14 months old.

The little one is Jules, a ruddy (or brownish) variety...now 10 months old.

Both are from the same parents...just 1 litter apart...

The breed is well known for its intelligence and affection...

They are a nusance on gun and holster cleaning day...

Abbys' (can't spell the entire name) is another small type of breed owners (not a lot of owners of them I don't think) Pete. A friend of mine in the MA area has one, her's is now expecting any day. They do not collect lugers though, we met via work when I was in NH and her and her husband enjoyed showing me a revolutionary war site.

Pete! Really a couple of cuties! I have a 17 lb Snowshoe Siamese (boy)and an Asian leopard Bengal breed.(girl) The Bengal is somewhat of a wild animal..different than your normal kittie. Magic is my Siamese..Really a lover boy! Abyssinian's are really beautiful...They have a good looking pelt. Jerry Burney

We also had a new member to our family, her name is Becky. She is just over six weeks old. She was a rescued kitten, her mother was hit by a car.

Here's him pissed of 'cuz I forgot to feed him at 6 o'clock sharp.

My puppy, thinking she can sit on my chest like the kitties always do...

After a few incidences where the combination of me and electronics have gone wrong (like three laptops drowned within a year, with all the fun it brings of loosing data..), the following rÃ?Â©sumÃ?Â©Ã?Â¨ brought some laughter among my colleagues at work yesterday:

*The chance that I would have to drink a glass of water during the night about 6/360=1.6%
*The chance that I bring it back to the bedroom; 60%
*The chance that I drink it all up; 50%
*The chance that I place it besides the bed on the floor (no table); 90%
*The chance that my telephone is in the bedroom 1/7=14.28%
*The chance that I leave it besides the pillow; 5%
*The chance that it will fall out of bed during the rest of the night; 15%
The area it must hit : pi*r*r = 3.14*4cm = 12.56cm2
Total realistic area it might fall on: 30*80cm = 2400cm2
*The chance to hit the glass with the telephone is 12.56/2400=0.52%

Total chance to drown the telephone that way would be;

Here's my contribution.....

Frisky, my 16 year old Siamese mix, is a catnip fiend.... Crack heads, sterno sinffers, heroin junkies... they can't hold a candle to him.

One night I came home late and found him all lit up on the sofa. I was so un-nerved, I locked myself in the bedroom armed with my trusty .45 caliber black powder Ruger Old Army (this was back in my pre-Luger days). I stayed locked up in my room all night, gripped by mortal fear.

The lower photo is what he looks like under more tranquil conditions. A true Jekyl and Hyde.

Thanks for the great postings...

Next time it is gun or holster cleaning day, I will let the cats get into the photos as well...usually I keep them out of the room as cat hair and gun oil do not co-exist well together...

Ron, my cats are the same way. They type very, very well. Only problem is they can't spell at all.

Nice looking calf you have there.

My first reaction upon seeing the photo was, "thank goodness it doesn't have two heads!"

Years ago I was chased out of a pasture by a Holstein bull. What kind of disposition will your calf have when he's fully grown (assuming he won't be "converted" to a steer)?
