Value ? 1936 PO8 refurb?
Yep, im hooked. I found another one, just looking into it though. Its a 1936 "po8" He didnt give the manufacture, i think it says byf on the toggle.
? #1 Did they make lugers in 36 that didnt have strawing. All the parts are blued. Almost looks like a reblue. "the barrel looks like someone used pliers to take it off at one time" there was no discription of the bore. Has ugly black plastic grips with a circle on them. Mag doesnt look origional. It doesnt look like its in that bad of shape but it could be...the pics arent great. he wants 500 obo. What is it worth. Thanks Jarrod

Jarrod, most likely the Luger is made by Mauser and I'm guessing a russian capture with an X on the left side.
But pictures is the key.. don't think anyone here can look into the crystal ball and tell you the value based on the information given.

Sounds like a VoPo from the description. Especially the plastic bulls-eye grips. Which I rather like, they're not that bad.

If you can get it for $350 - $400... it would make a great shooter...

Hmmm, a Luger or your girl... tough decision. Of course they don't make Lugers anymore...
