Default Last WW1 Luger

Anyone have a serial number list for 1918 DWM Lugers?I have 5 1918's and one is missing some marks. SN 335x m. Sometime before 11/11/1918,they quit making lugers or maybe not.All answers much appreciated .

Barry,

Welcome to the Forum.

DWM P-08 are reported at least into the s suffix (Still, Imperial Lugers 1991); more recent reports may include u suffix.

Official military production would have halted with the Armistace, as you suggest. There is no way to know how many were in the productin queue, or at what stage of completion, when production officially ceased. Production of commercial Lugers continued, and production of guns meant for Government service resumed as early as 1920.

It would be useful to see pictures of your 1918 with missing marks in order to help ascertain its circumstances.
