Default No lock back on last round? FINN Luger *UPDATE 4/21*

I rececived a 9mm Finnish luger recently as a gift. Thankfully, I do know the provinancee of the piecec; it is one of the Finn lugers that came from AIM.

It's a somewhat odd piece, though.

First, it has a 4" barrel. More curious, at some point in time it was done up like a BYF [the so called "black widow"] luger; All parts blued [truly blued, I checked], black plastic grips [they are the originals, I also checked]. It bears the [SA] finnish property mark on the left hand side. All parts are either un-numbered or are matching; The Takedown lever, barrel, trigger, toggle arm are all marked with the last two digits of the serial number. The pistol does show some evidence of being refurbed, perhaps several times, by the finns. The toggle is amrked DWM, and it bears the import mark of TG gunns discreetly on the right side, like all these recent finns do. The bore is excellant, and she shoots amazingly well.

The only issue the pistol has is that when firing it does not lock the toiggle open on the last shot. It will lock if you cycle it by hand.

I was curious if anyone has an idea as to why this will not lock open? Also, any more information you could give me on this curious gun would be helpful. THANKS~

UPDATE 4/21~
Well, I sent my Finn Luger off to member "Lugerdoc" to check over the main spring, the bolt hold open and give it a general "once over" in case there are any other issues that might crop up later that I'm unaware of... I figured this was the best thing to do, as I don't consider myself any kind of luger expert at all.

Heard back from hi, today, and he already has it fixed!!! He says the issues was basically all the spring, and he made a few small adjustments as well, and polished the feed ramps. Can't wait tog et it back and shoot it proper next to my TT-33's... kind of an Eastern Front Shoot out, if you will!!!
