replacement parts

I would like to get some replacement parts for my shooter, like the firing pin and other items that might break during routine shooting. My code 42 1939 has all matching numbers and I would like to keep it that way.
My question is, are all luger parts universal, say from the DWM's to the Mausers? What should I be looking for? I see some parts on E-bay that are the same number.....35 as mine, and thought it would be nice to have replacement parts that match my serial number for when I shoot it.
Does this make sense or should I not worry about the number, and just get the shooter parts?
