Hi,
With the new weapon law in Belgium, my grandfather is forced by the goverment to go shooting again, or hand his weapons in. (Luger, FN baby) However I have some questions(about the added pictures): - witch caliber is it? (9mm parabellum, because on the registration paper stoot 8.82?) They said that the "huls" didn't get extracted, so I supose there is something wrong with the extractor, or the wrong kind of ammo? - Can I find a new barrel for the gun? The barrel is totally smooth inside. However I cannot test the gun, but my father will. I shoot discipline 9 and 11(airrifle), so I don't have a license(model 4) and I can not test the gun. Because I'm a sportshooter (airgun), I can have a sportshooterslicense, that's required for a model 4(the actual license, or atleast so was it called before the new (crazy)law) Without a sportshooterlicense buying a gun is(or should) be impossible.(there is even a difference for hunters or sportshooters) So for my grandfather to keep his weapons he should: - go to the doctor, and he needs to write an attest that he's fysical/mentally capable of handling a gun - Go to a shootclub, and practice with his weapon minimum 5 times a year - do a theory test - do a pratical test and this every 5 years again(everything) So we decided, that I'll take the gun. This has the advantage that I can shoot with my fathers gun too now.(.22LR, and with this I'm not more restricted to airrifle shooting only) sorry for my bad english ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
