I am selling my Mitchell Luger. I have someone with a C&R asking if this qualifys as a C&R. Does it? Where would I look? Is a C&R a class III FFL?
Thanks, Chris |

Chris,
No, Mitchell's are not listed under curio & relics in ATF regs. A C&R is not a class III FFL. C&R is an 03 FFL. A "class" III FFL is a license to deal in destructive devices such as machineguns, suppressors, etc. Ron

I just called the local New Jersey ATF office. The Mitchell is not a C&R, and in addition I can not send a gun to a C&R from NJ even if it were.
