LP holster
Hello to all.
I have found a arty holster, on this I can find a ink marking: ARCO or ARGO. Can please someone of you say me what kind of marking it is and what it means. Thanks and have a good day. Best Olivier |

Olivier, I would think that it reads "AR50", or "AR60" or "AR80". In any case it would be Artillerie Regiment __ __. This appears to be a supply depot marking for a field artillery unit.
What is the maker mark and year? Can we see more photos? |

Hello Geo
Thanks for your answer. I don't have see that is AR_ _. My (false) meaning was ARCO or ARGO. Here an other pic of all the rig. The maker of the holster is CLEMEN, and the date is 1915, I can also find an other ink marking: BAIX (that I know what it is). |

Olivier,
It is a nice looking outfit. Does it have a matching pistol? Is the cleaning rod marked? |

Oliver,
that is a nice looking holster. I noticed that the stock has an original looking proof mark on it. Does the stocks serial number match the serial number on your Luger? Congradulations on a nice find. The cup that holds the stock iron is a difficult thing to find. It looks like it originally goes with the holster. Remember me at Christmas time. Big Norm |

Thanks to you gentleman.
I don't have the Lp08 because of our pour law (in France: firearms collectors = terrorist!!!!!!!!!). The cleaning rod is not marked. The number of the stock is 9833a. Best Olivier Ps: for big norm: it is a long time to Chrismas. |

Oliver ,
I just put it on my calander to remind you just before Christmas. I will give enough time to cover the mail delivery. But if you wish to make me very, very happy sooner, my birthday is in July. In case that I forget due to great excitement, thank you. Big Norm |
