Default Baby Luger Conversion

Interesting listing on eBay.

I have no connection with this seller.

I know Eugene; shared a table with him, or more properly, he used Keoki and my table, at Chantilly. His craftsmanship is very good.

I love his work and I'd love to have a baby conversion, but $1,000 + the gun is a little steep, IMHO.

Not that he doesn't have that kind of time and workmanship into it, but you can get an awful nice collectors piece for that much... Assuming you had a $500 shooter to use.

But, if I had plenty of cash that I had no idea what I was going to do with, I'd be all over this one...

Steve,

That is not expensive, in my opinion it is a bargain for a baby. Having built a few, and knowing the labor that goes into converting one and getting it to function reliably, I would not convert one for less. In fact, I quit making them at that price because to me it wasn't worth the trouble. I believe that is about what Neil Keller charges for his conversions also.

Hugh, you did the second or third one for me. At the old price it was a steal! Just glad I had a gun to use at that time!
