"Due to the placement of the magazine in front of the trigger guard we cannot sell this pistol in California. "

What a crock the laws of that state are!

While California is a tad rough, there is no such law....I have made several C-96 buys in 2005.

I wondered about that as I read it. I thought the situation was that specific guns had to be appoved by CA for sale. I hadn't heard about mag placement, but I really hadn't looked into it that much.

There is such a law, it applies to any semi-auto pistol with a detachable magazine that resides outside of the grip.

Scroll down a ways, it's there, along with a whole lot of other crap, and this is 6 years out of date!!

Watch those remarks about Blast from the past! I remember some of those adds. And no I couldn't afford to buy them then either

Tac,
Stupidity does not recognize international boundries. California slipped off the deep end a long time ago, and apparently they have hit bottom and started to dig.

California has slipped off but they know money. The Olympic pistols are excempt from the normal laws (http://caag.state.ca.us/firearms/forms/pdf/op.pdf)
Can not host and make money otherwise.
