Front sight adjustment tool
I have seen a couple of pictures of front sight adjustment tools. They fitted over the front sight and had a screw set in the side to move the sight ramp left or right. Has anyone seen one of the actual items? They look like a replica would be easy to make for someone with a drill press and maybe a small milling machine. Does anyone on this forum make such a replica? I could supply the pictures that I have. I would not want someone to make counterfits but simply replicas. They look like a much better way to adjust for windage than using a punch and hammer.

Re: Front sight adjustment tool
Steve, There are at least 3 variations of th front sight adjusting tool that I'm framiliar with. The standard DWM PO8 style and the M1900/06 type with higher front sight base had a T handle threaded ajusting screw, where as the later Mauser type had a calibrated micrometer type handle.
