A beautiful example and seems correct in every way...I just had another commercial in here for a small repair and it had the same pointed top flap on the tool pouch.
What advice are you wanting exactly? Jerry Burney

Patrice, like Jerry says, it's a great commercial holster. I also might point out that it is not pebble grained but rather seems to be pig skin which makes it even more desireable. A valuable holster.

George is absolutely correct, I forgot to mention it. I would say it is in the $700-$900 catagory. It has the cleaning rod sleeve attached close to the magazine pouch but no provision for the pin punch next to the interior tool pouch like I have seen on many others. The hinge is particulary pristine, the whole holster is in amazing condition. A real find. Notice the leather covered buckle....Do you have an opportunity to purchase this holster? Jerry Burney

That is easily one of the most stunning holsters I have seen in quite a while, a real treasure and outstanding collector's piece. I hope you can acquire it Patrice, it deserves a good home.

Hi,
Nice one. Are there any stampings on one or either rings of the pushbutton assembly? |

Yes on the snap button there's stamped only five letters .J.H.H. and .C.S.

Hi,
Thanks. These markings have been reported before on other 'commercial' equipment. I believe they point towards a button factory in former Czecho-Slowakia (hence the C.S.). Reported: JHH * CS * (pre-1918) RG (ca 1918-1925?) KM (ca 1930-1940?) A possible button-producer may be Josef Haase from Peterswald, in a disputed CS/German area. |
