I would like to know if any members could provide 2 dimensional photographs of the front, top, bottom & rear of an original
1914-1916 LP08 Holster rig including the dble magazine pouch. I am particularly looking for illustrations on the model/type which has metal rivetted loops (as apposed to stitched ) to the boot, strap & closure flap areas etc. Thanking you in advance for any information you may be able to provide. Charles

Charles the metal rivets are quite common on toe boots and seem to be used on all rigs after 1914/15. I have never seen rivets used to secure the keeper on the holster flap itself but they are frequently found on the keeper on the upper stock strap.

Charles, welcome to the forum!
I do not have those type of pictures, but like Pat said, do a search and look around the forum, hundreds of pictures here. ed

Hello Pat,George & Edward,
Many thanks indeed for your friendly and helpful response. I have viewed the Holster Forum photos which are mostly tremendous quality pictures. I believe I have found what I wanted with the exception of not being able to locate more detail on the straps and buckle fasteners etc.. Thank you! Charles

Hello Charles,
Please have a look at my web site. You can find a special section completely focused on all LP08 holsters. Starting form the rare Pig Skin AWM model (1914-15), MARS 1915 model up to the standard model. Have a look and let me know. Best regards. Mauro ![]()
