Persian LP08 Rig

About 25 years ago I bought what was being advertised in SGN as unissued Persian Artillery Rig-unissued and in storage many years, blah blah-wondering if any body familiar with these-brown, unmarked, dry leather and old appearing but unused-there are some farsi looking marks on the stock. I considered it a repro at the time and bought it as it was the first I had seen. I have a SARCO version and there is no comparison the "Persian" actually appears old.

Mike, There were repro Persian LPO8 holster stock rigs made some years ago and if sold by SOG, I expect that's what you have. The Original leather holsters were a better quality thicker medium brown, compared to the thin tan repros.
