New Great Western Show
Did anyone attend the New GW show in Dallas last weekend? If so, how was it? I have fond memories of the old one in LA, with numberous folks running around in various uniforms and lots of good G&W music and 5500 tables of stuff ranging from the exotic to junk. TH

I too want to hear about the GW show. For me the California show was the best gun show in America and probably the world. When they tried it in Las Vegas a couple of years ago the general concensus was that it was not a good show. For me, it was a great show and I was disappointed when they decided not to continue it there. I'm certain it would have grown if they gave it half a chance. Going to the Texas GW from the west coastis almost out of the question for me, but if it approached the size and quality of the old show I would get there somehow. Those were 25 beautiful years!

I've also heard second hand that the size of the show was disappointing; only about 800 tables vise the 5500 that they used to have in LA area. TH

I could not imagine that they would ever be able to equal the size of the show as it was in past years, but 800 tables is really disappointing. I wouldn't travel that far unless it exceeded 2000 tables. Well, let's wait and see.
