Please look at the front of the frame.
The area where the serial number would have been has been altered a bit. There is no way the original serial number would have survived. FGR |

The biggest problem with manions is if you were to win the bid, there is an approx 18% commision charge, a handling fee, and then shipping. By the time you won it at $440 and added the extras, the cost would be near $550. I have purchased a few firearms from manions in the past and got a decent deal even after the adders, but the lately, the total cost was more than the items were worth. Manions does have some great items for sale, but it is expensive sometimes.

Is the Manion price of $440 a fixed price or could it go higher at auction? Do they have a no-reason required inspection period for full refund less S&H? If not, see the ones in our classified @$500 + $25 S&H.

Tom,
One of the big reasons I stopped buying from Manions is the price would keep going up to the max value of a piece, or more, and then the commision and shipping is real killer. By the time you get the item, you cost is morn than the value. Sometimes you can get a good buy, but the items I wanted was also wanted by others that would pay the price. Manions does have a return policy, but you have to state a reason for the return which is no problem. Also, you must be careful because there have been incedents where an item was advertised as original and it is a good repro. Manions will take it back! They are very nice to deal with, it is just the cost factor to me. Marvin |
