One of my WWI era holsters keeps getting a spotty whitish bloom on it, looks like fungus or mildew. It wipes off pretty easily, but returns after a couple of months ...

Latest thing I am trying is to wipe the holster with regular household rubbing ( isopropel ? ) alcohol, with the hope it kills the crud without hurting the leather. 'Not a deep soaking, just a light surface wipe. Time will tell, I guess.

I am also looking for dummy Luger magazines, wood or plastic, to keep in the mag pocket.

And while we're at it, does anyone have a source for dummy Lugers ? I have a plastic one that is a perfect cast from a Luger, and that works great. Also, "WE" Airsoft bead guns made in China ( pot metal ) are the exact copy shape of a Luger, but are too expensive, 100+ dollars.
