Default Lugers in movies

"Wall Street" has a scene where a wealthy gun collector is showing off his .45 Luger, and proudly boasting that "only six of them were made." I wouldn't call this a Hollywood gun goof, because from what I've read, the number of .45 Lugers manufactured is unknown. Only one is known to exist though.

Default Ted, I just emailed that Museum and asked for verification

of the details about their having one of the .45 caliber Lugers in their holdings. I will post their reply when I get it. They don't have posted hours on Monday, so it will probably be later in the week..
