Lugers in movies
"Wall Street" has a scene where a wealthy gun collector is showing off his .45 Luger, and proudly boasting that "only six of them were made." I wouldn't call this a Hollywood gun goof, because from what I've read, the number of .45 Lugers manufactured is unknown. Only one is known to exist though.

Re: Lugers in movies
A second one is rumored to be in a Museum in Shreveport Louisiana, Hugh may go see it one day, he doesnt live too far! Hey Hugh, ask them if it would be alright to shoot that bad boy!!!

If any of us is lucky enough to visit that museum, they better take
a digital camruh and a notepad and get da story of it's history for this hear site!
Ya here dat Hugh!! |
Ted, I just emailed that Museum and asked for verification
of the details about their having one of the .45 caliber Lugers in their holdings. I will post their reply when I get it. They don't have posted hours on Monday, so it will probably be later in the week..
