I have a mismatch luger and the frame is marked with O. 3673 on the front grip strap. Can anyone tell me what this means?

Hi Floyd,
It's a Weimar Navy mark. O stands for Ostsee (the Baltic) and 3673 is the weapon number. Norm |

Hi Mike,
Neither the Ostsee mark (usually applied to the front grip strap) or the Nordsee mark (usually applied to the rear) are particularly rare, but they add significant value to a Weimar or early Third Reich Luger. They identify them as Naval property. Regards, Norm |

Norme,
Thanks so much for the information. I'am ashamed that it took so long for me to responded. Floyd |
