<img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> First, let me state that I have no vested interest in this product, even tho it is made right here in good ole TEXAS!
Got mine in today and tried it on some mag release buttons, a sideplate, and a shooter frame. This product is a 'cleaner" and not a "stripper"; it will not leave your gun or parts shiny white. It removes the surface rust but still leaves some discoloration where heavy rusting was. I applied it as the instructions indicated by putting a little of the gel on the part and then rubbing with 0000 steel wool. It did not remove or affect the rust bluing and the strawing! In fact in a couple of cases it revealed faint strawing that was not evident under light surface rust. Below are pictures of "before" (on left) and "after" ( on right) of some mag release buttons and a sideplate treated with Blue Wonder. As you can see, the remaining strawing on one button and the rust bluing on the sideplate was not removed. ![]() ![]() ![]()
