But of course as others have pointed out, the documentation is often fake too!

Please reply to my Hitler remark if you wish on the lanyard thread and I will respond. I was making a very specific point. The thread was already way off topic when I posted...

Let's go one step further, why are most GERMAN guns advertised as "Nazi"? To be German born doesn't mean you are a Nazi!!!! All Germans during those years were not Nazis, there was a German Army, and a seperate political party. OK, NOW you can NUKE this thread.

PS: Why not let this conversation go on, what is the harm. Someone stated earlier it is best to have this conversation in a barroom, why- so someone can hit the other person or kill them? This is a safe environment for these type of discussions, not face to face. Alright, I'm done...........

Members who have contributed to this Message thread...et al,

The terms of use and Forum Decorum documents spell out specifically prohibited topics... if it has been a while since you read these documents, I suggest you do so as a refresher...

Regarding why some descriptive terms are used by some dealer... ask the dealer themselves... this forum is not in the business of vindicating dealers... only in Luger history and use...

In answer to Ratdog's question as to why not let the conversation go on... and what is the harm?

Well from the adminstrator point of view... the conversation is non-productive and can easily be provocative... take it to a political discussion board... not here.

Now I am done... and so is this message thread that has drifted WAY OFF TOPIC... This thread is closed. If you have a problem with that... take it up with me via Private Message.
