Default Johnny! I agree! But the 06/29 Swiss......

still has a Luger appeal all it's own! I don't know what it is about the 06/29, but I really feel I would like to own one someday.....In the past, they have been to expensive, and almost all have been in great condition....so shooter grades are non existent! The feature I find most unappealing is the lack of checkering on the small parts....don't know if I could live with that....if I could get enough original parts to start with, frame, barrelled receiver, sideplate, etc.....I would like to make a mongrel dog 06/29 shooter! same only different! till...later....G.T.
