What's the approximate date for this, and any other interesting info that can be pulled from the photos?

Its a -really very nice- DWM Alphabet Commercial. Letter suffix r was produced early 1928. The GERMANY stamp on the left frame rail indicates it was intended for export to the US. The proper maagazine is steel, wood bottom unmaarked. The bottom -may- be stamped GERMANY.

What would be a reasonable price range to expect to get for this?

$600-$700

Are the mags the same for 9mm and .30 Luger?
