Ed,

It's been a couple of days and no one has responded to your post. I thought some one should so here I am, but I am not sure what you are asking. I looked over the pictures you posted of the M2 and it looks nice, but I am not an expert on these guns. I wasn't sure but shouldn't the safety have a polished area under the lever in the down position? I can't remember.
