Hello Randy,

Looks very nice, I would guess that John D (he collects Kriegs will be very interested.

And if it is a post-war Krieg, then the dead officer story wouldn't fit... Is it possible he found two, sold, traded one before he left europe? (this was common among GI's)

As you can see, I collect stories of bring-backs, if you like to be added to my booklet I am slowly making, send me a PM or e-mail weimar_lugers@comcast.net all I'd need is some information on your step-dad, his unit if you know it, where he was stationed, any of the story, and these pictures
