I see the photocurse has you also. The cure is simple:

1. Pour a glass of the best bourbon you can buy into your computer
2. Don't worry about them steenking pictures
3. Install new motherboard
4 Send pix to Ed or John S and humbly ask for help
5. Get second glass of bourbon, consume and chill out.

Been there, got the T-shirt, and have the bourbon.
